Fed up with the hassle and bustle of the big city and the quirks of his customers, irritable, hot-headed barber Periklis decides to leave forever behind Athens and his one true love, beautiful Eleni. As Periklis makes it big in Africa as a big-game hunter, nostalgia starts to creep in, and without a second thought, he returns home in Greece, desirous of reuniting with his first cousin and former business partner, Anastasis.
