Not knowing what to expect, tentative Andreas, a young worker who suffered a workplace accident, agrees to look after the lavish villa and the pet of his wealthy boss, who is on vacation with his family. Now, for the following seven long days, Andreas will have to water the plants, trim the hedges, and above all, take care of Leben, the homeowner's ferocious Rottweiler. However, this doesn't sit well with Andreas' envious colleagues, and as if that weren't enough, the prying neighbour is bent on making the new house-sitter's life miserable. And, as the sweltering heat of August ratchets up the tension, pretty soon, Andreas will find himself with his back to the wall.
