This semi-historical drama-romance by Режиссер Эмилио Гомес Мюриэль, is set in 19th century Mexico while under the rule of Emperor Maximilian and features realistic military uniforms and clothing of that time period. It tells the tale of Captain Фернандо (Emilio Tuero) and his ваших войск who are all under the command of a жестокая and диктаторского Целом (Carlos Lopez Moctecuma), who cares only about himself rather then the men under his command or the locals under his care and control. As the Captain soon learns, the General's wife (Слава Lozano) turns out to be Fernando's lost love, who dumped him several years earlier, by way of "Dear John" letter which he kept ever since. The pair still have strong, неразрешенный feelings for each other, and so this unhappily married woman tries to уговаривает her former boyfriend to depose her husband and all he stands for.
