"Why is life the way it is?" is the first movie in Spanish based on a podcast. Directed by Olallo Rubio, "Why is life the way it is?" is docucomedy that explores the national character of the Mexican people in a satirical tone. The film throws questions such as: Why is the Mexican so festive, joyful and welcoming? Why is the Mexican corrupt, lazy and deceitful? Why is the Mexican so contradictory?
