Two talented, but struggling musicians live in a Bavarian village. Toni writes the music Edi and the lyrics. They make a demo disk, and then get work as stage hands in a big-city theatre. They get to perform one of their songs, but leave in despondency and work in a crummy цирк. Meanwhile toni's delectable girlfriend is Elsie getting lonely back home, vivacious and the Hungarian girl Рози who works at the theatre seems to be winning his affection. And back home it looks as if Mrs Хаузер, toni's mother, is going to get evicted. The demo song has become a big hit... if only someone can track the boys down, there could still be a happy ending...
