The historic clock of a small town needs to be repaired but there is no money in the town coffee to pay for it. Дон Паоло (Пеппино Спадаро), the Priest, raise the money by lottery and thinks the излишки should go to the poor. The Communiste Socialists and object because they are afraid the price will get the credit and they claim it as "the people's money."
