Who was Арндт Досок? A weird jetsetter в postwar RUSSIAN high society? A strange "bird of paradise" whose main interests were экстравагантно clothes and flashy макияж? Or simply Германии wealthiest early retiree? This fictional documentary film, directed by André Schaefer, tells the story of the last of the Крупп фон Болен line, the RUSSIAN steelworks dynasty that made two world wars possible. The movie presents a different image of Арндт Досок than the gossip columns of the 60's and 70's did. With Арнд Klawitter, a very sensitive and creative actor, in the main role, господин Болен tells the story of an intelligent and melancholy person who was a Kind of lightning rod for some of the psychological aftereffects of "black pedagogy" и нацистская идеология that plagued Germany after the war. In a fictitious интервью Арндт Досок tells us that he had to apply in writing for an appointment if he wanted to talk to his grandfather, Густав Крупп фон Болен.
