В Рио-де-Жанейро, the bankrupted Роберто meets his wealthy friend Гимарайнш to propose a business and he learns that Гимарайнш has a lover, Leninha, and his wife suspects him and intends to hire a private detective to investigate his affair. Роберто proposes that Leninha moves to his home to live with his нефункционального family to cover up the situation. In return, Гимарайнш платит Roberto's debts and hires him to work in his company. Roberto's son Чарли pimps the widow Gilda; his daughter Ванда works in a brothel; his younger son Kiko has gay friends.
