"You were somewhere together?" The high school graduate Marie asks her parents sarcastically when they talk about an appointment together. In fact, Tanja and Matthias Winter - she a lively career woman, he a somewhat sloppy ex-teacher and househusband - haven't had much in common for a long time. Nevertheless, both are equally astonished that Marie does not want to study, but instead wants to train as an automotive mechatronics technician in Berlin.
