Both the chronicle of a horrendous crime and the story of the strange love story that it hides. Nina is a young woman who living gray period in the history of Spain, does not renounce to achieve happiness. She relives through her difficult childhood, her marriage to a man, Мигель older than her. She fights against an unhappy life and is torn between a frustrated and marriage an unhealthy relationship with a co-worker of her husband. All this ends in the latter's murder. She ends up being sentenced with one of the last death sentences of the Franco regime.
