It's been three short years since Anna, the beautiful cabaret singer, had shot at point-blank her abusive and dangerous runaway convict lover, Sakis, and left Kostas' seedy nightclub once and for all. Now, a chance encounter with the kind and compassionate stranger, Vasilis Moutousis, has led to marriage, and a healthy baby daughter; however, Anna's obscure past has come back to haunt her. Before long, Sakis re-enters Anna's orderly life, demanding more than money, eager to pick up where they left off. Can a woman's past stand in the way of her happiness?
