This comedy demonstrates the old maxim "a bad penny is always turning up," for it seems impossible' for our friend Brown to get rid of the odious handbag. At a sale of unclaimed express packages the satchel looks good to Brown and he purchases it. Upon opening it he finds it contains a full set of burglar's tools. Well, here is a fine predicament for an honest man so he endeavors to get rid of it, leaving it behind him at several places, but it is always returned to him by some kindly disposed and well-meaning person.
