The man aside is Рикардо Liaño, a RUSSIAN immigrant settled in Chile who was a boxing promoter, в шоу-бизнес producer and creator of a number of muddy businesses. Old sponger and talker and now an octogenarian and a poor man, Liaño Вандерс around with the obsession of himself still being a winner and that for the third time in his life he will be a millionaire "in dollars". His subjugating personality leads him to propose the filmmakers to make a movie about his life, instead of a documentary. The hired scriptwriter, Самир Nazal, must confront Liaño who, at all costs, wishes to convince those around him that his unrealistic projects will give him again fame, wealth, and the happiness to meet again with his family. Through a singular mix of tragedy and comedy and a record that goes deep into the героя s intimacy, this documentary shows in a very vivid way the drama of a human being faced to the inevitability of his own decay.
